I chose this one because I remember going out side of my comfort zone and learning new things. Also I remember wanting a sense of wonder so I'm going to try and keep that feeling in the new version.

I learnt a lot re drawing this piece, I don't think I've seriously sat down and drawn a tree since I drew the previous picture or any of the subject matter really, so I spent most of my time researching and studying references. I may do this more regularly and gain more xp.

The stock imagery used was a texture for the grass which I photographed myself from my over grown lawn. P:

amazing improvement! I saw the WIPs in your gallery too, you've really put a lot of time and effort into this. It paid off, it looks smashing.
Only thing for me is the background - it looks very light (on my screen), almost like a field of plain white. A bit more sky/cloud might add to the piece.
